The ideal client is a person that is seeking change in their lives. Often times, they have experienced significant pain, set backs and disruption. They are frustrated with their lack of success and are willing to put in the work to change in a positive, meaningful way.
The Commitment Statement.
This person must be willing to write out a commitment statement and sign it. This is a binding contract with themselves to stay strong and resolute in order to achieve desired results.
Put in the Work.
This person must show up every week 100% prepared and maintain a positive can-do attitude. There will be homework assignments. They must be complete and well thought out to create the desired change and results.
Shed Excuses.
This person will take personal responsibility for their own success. They will plan the work and work the plan. Any excuse is unacceptable. It’s not time management, it’s choice management.
Develop Mental Toughness.
There are times in coaching as in life where meaningful change runs up against significant resistance. Knowing that this can or will happen, the client will persevere through these challenges.
